pre christmas memories

Here was breakfast with santa at russ' workplace. samantha thought it was fun that daddy worked in the room with tootsie rolls. but she also thinks he works with the grinch because there was a guy in costume dressed like the grinch! she says he doesn't play nicely so she doesn't like him.

here we are playing scattergories. they are really hard at work trying to find a sandwich that starts with a "P". how bout pizza on pumpernickle? and the recommended age is 12 and up. PUHLEEZE!!!!

Here we are at the birthday party for jesus. Peggy the childrens minister is reading a book about that special day jesus was born. my kids are eating so they are actually sitting down and somewhat listening! the boy behind sam with the curly locks is ethan who is in her sunday school class and the boy behind ethan in the red shirt is caleb. he is only a few weeks older than sam and in her class at childs day out!

i bet that shep is getting some candy. that's about the only time he stays on focus. he knows before we leave mrs. shelleys c.d.o. class he gets a sucker. we can't leave without that or mrs. stephenie's (sam's teacher) special treat (i.e. sticker or candy)! yes my kids can be bribed with candy. actually that works well for me too!
